  3. Human Zoologist says:

The evil witch went too far this time. Having her black cat rape a kangaroo to create this monstrous chimera…

  4. Janna says:

It looks like a furless kangaroo down on all fours instead of upright. OTOH, it’s creepy no matter what it is.

  5. Abd says:

    It’s a hairless bear!

  6. Edward says:

If that’s someone’s Halloween costume, I could not be more impressed.

  7. kablammy says:

    El Chupacabra.

    • Anna Rexia says:

Being in Texas, that made me laugh especially hard. Every time someone spots a coyote with mange (and we’ve had a bunch of those in the past two years for some reason), they freak out, thinking it’s the chupacabra.

They’re saying that they aren’t sure what’s the deal with the balding bear, but it sure looks like mange to me (I once had a dog with chronic mange due to immune deficiency).

      • Tanken says:

That’s exactly why I thought it was mange. Had a dog with demoditic mange. “Mange comes in three varieties: Demodectic, Cheyletiella and Sarcoptic. It is caused by different species of mites, tiny eight-legged critters related to spiders.” Guess they don’t have much mange in Germany…it says right in the description of the bear’s condition she has rashes and inflammation, plus her hair loss!

Saw that ‘Chupacabra’ out near the Woodlands didja?:)
“Ayoooo, Bald Coyotes of Houston.” Amazed me how someone could mistake it!

        • Jill says:

We had demoditic mange on our guinea pigs. Took about 3 or 4 trips to the vet before they realised which kind of mange it was and treated it properly (demoditic is very rare on rodents). Didn’t affect my naturally (nearly) hairless guinea pig though.

        • Anna Rexia says:

I know, right? It’s like people have never seen bald coyotes before.

  8. Parydy says:

The thing that repeatedly draws my attention is the patch of reddish fur on it’s forehead, and not how creepy it is.

Bad twilight put down, btw. This is not Failblog.
