The rule has their own uniform code and are prohibited to wear printed or certain color panties. They do a random check every once in a while during the morning ceremony and if they got caught, they will be punished.

Not that all Japanese have straight, black hair. I have many students with coarse, wavy hair, and even a few whose hair is naturally lighter, closer to chestnut than black. However, the majority? Straight. Black. And at this level of high school, the girls wouldn’t be dying it, either.
