WTF?!?!?!?!?
That man is my hero.
The motorcycle rolling over their fingers blesses the children, making them strong, beautiful, and unable to attend school for a week.
What a douche…riding without a helmet is never cool
Stealing is a crime, and this is how it shall be punished!
This is the first picture on this site ever, where I actually went “(what)…the *fuck*??”! There’s no other way to express it. Why would one do such a thing? And smile while doing it? Look at even the parents smiling. Must be an extreme mental confusion going on…
And why the hands??
I thought the same ;~; It’s just… sad to me. Not even funny. Just horrible.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?
He’s smiling because he knows the truth….Hands today…Penis’ tomorrow.
How to: interrupt a prayer session
That’s really disturbing. And all the adults are grinning.
Maybe it is supposed to be some kind of trick where it doesn’t hurt them, but I don’t see how you could guarantee that.
The Indian version of Evil Knievel
This picture wins hands down.
I guess it’s just a trick to make people go whoah!? Like a carnival type act. The bike will not hurt their hands at low speed.. it just looks ‘shocking’.
WTF. They’re all very young, and that man is at least 180 pounds, plus bike. I mean, as long as the car rolls over your hands slowly, you’ll be ok right?
This picture will spark further debate about the India-Pakistan arms race.
It wouldn’t have been so bad if he hadn’t kept putting his foot on their heads to steady himself.
“Sad thing is… This’ actually better to drive on than our highways”
This is a widely accepted act in those parts. It’s a way of welcoming young boys into manhood. You are deemed unworthy to become a man yet if you move your hands away before they get run over. It’s really not all that strange, every culture has some sort of man-hood test. Some perhaps not as extreme as this.
anyone notice all the boys are wearing the same shirt?
you make that fine,
give me five
pretty mad i didn’t get credit for this one, i have proof i sent it in. i guess anonymous means multiple people submitted the same pic.
@zack t
’cause if you had been given credit, you would’ve won a shitload of internets, right?
World record holder for most children punnished at once!
Ouch!
Or should I say…
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch!
Photoshop, look closely, no one looks directly at the man, and the shadowing is weird.
Couldn’t afford a bike path, huh?
@Pistolera
your an asshole. i dont want to see you here ever again.
@Pistolera
Yeah, “look closely” as in the kid with his head up is looking right fucking at him. “Look closely” as in his foot has a shadow on the ground. “Look closely” as in everyone else has their shadows reacting to the light source in the same way, and from the same place.
Photoshop asshole, the new “First!!” asshole?
amen i h8 those Photoshop guys
Why the hands? Because of some dumb religious shit probably. Why worship an imaginary friend? Why ask why?
Sure is photoshopped. I’m sure the issue of National Geographic this was featured in had it especially made so they could spew lies about it. Fucking dumb-ass.
By the way, that was sarcasm, after re-reading it I think it might come across wrong.
I think Pistolera’s personality is Photoshopped. It’s fake.
@Michael
I suppose it wouldn’t matter if he swerved and killed one of them.
They all look the same, who’d notice.
@gloworm and pisterola:
Now I’ve got it: The kids all have the same shirts… BECAUSE they were photoshopped!!11!1!1!
Do I win an internet now?
how to stop the kids from throwing things at the substitute teacher step 1
“Boy, I picked the *worst* day to wear my plaid shirt/yellow pants outfit.”
Doesn’t he realize how unsafe and dangerous that is? He should really be wearing a helmet.
The sand distributes the weight in such a way that the fingers are safe
Whoa! Is that the Benny Lava dude?
It’s only brown children.
Don’t worry, it’s their culture or sumfin so it’s ok.
and there is one girl there. The last child in the bottom of the picture. Cuz their hair is parted to make braids or pigtails.
What sort of ceremony was performed before the invention of the internal combustion engine?
crazy,unbelievable.
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Science demonstration. If the tires are inflated to only 35 kPa (5 PSI), then the weight will be spread across a large enough contact area, so that it only exerts 35 kPa on the back of the hands.
Note, if he lowers the pressure so much that the rims contact the ground or the hands, then the demo, and the hands are ruined.
Note 2, a tiny rock under a hand, or caught in the tire would be bad. I assume this is why they spread cloth on the ground.
My biggest question is this: if this is a right of passage, what in the name of Tom Landry did they do before there were mopeds/dirt bikes?
Packistani carjacking taskforce gets a hand.
@Pistolera
Yeah, it has to be photoshopped.
No one man is made of that much awesome.
Pro-Tip: Squint really hard and the shape of the guys legs, combined with the wheel in the middle, spells “LOL”…coincidence? I think not.
Definitely not photoshopped. I am from India and it was in the news for a couple of days. They showed the entire video on the news channels. It’s not so much of a cultural thing or a rite of passage — I believe a minister or official was visiting the school, and this was a performance of sorts in his honor. The minister’s wife freaked out at this dangerous stunt and asked them to stop. Those boys are school-children, hence, those uniforms.
You know, I see kids in real life all wearing the same outfit at some schools. OMG PHOTOSHOPPED IRL!
Yeah, it’s called a school uniform. Notice how some of the kids in the crowd are wearing the same color or very similar shorts/skirts as the kids laying down?
It’s a martial arts thing, and they’re not supposed to be doing these stunts anymore.

@Malisyn
Horses or cartwheels?
@dono1
You, good sir, are cracking me up!
Douche!
So, so sad … If they break their hands they will suffer a lucrative career panhandling at airports and busy city intersections. This was documented in the award-winning film Slumdog $$$ Millions, one of those S&M torture kids camps. Or Pistolera’s rights and it’s just photoshopped.
@dono1
You, my man, are the proud new owner of 10,000,000 internets.
@dono1 – you are full of the clevers.
No, the benny lava dude has a beard!
@AFtERBIRtH33
No, as a lot of people before me have said, this is a test of manhood. If they move their hands away they are considered a coward. It’s just a rite of passage. The things that happen in those torture camps are ten million times worse, I can tell you that!
I don’t see what’s wrong with this picture. This is how I punish my students.
this is so photoshoped
@Pistolera @BoneFish no photoshop, came in news too!!!
So…if this is a traditional test of manhood….. what one earth did they use prior to the invention of the motorcycle (or the inflated tyre, on that same note)?
In rural Thailand, they take a hard stance on losing the village piano recital.
someone photoshoped all the arms on the floor
More like: I picked the best day to wear yellow pants. Will be pissing myself.
Its a Shame it happened at my state of tamilnadu, India. (the registration plate says it). Lucky it didnt come in news. (atleast not to my knowledge)
Boy, hands across India was a failure
The hands across India motorcycle tour.
that’s …………………..
Damn, I thought the nuns were strict.
IM Rick James BITCH
Malasia’s Right-Wing crusade against masterbation just goes too far.
It’s a punishment – the school doesn’t know the exact person who did it and so they punish everyone. I don’t know why that woman in the back is smiling. But that’s just how it rolls in some parts of India. It’s not “religious shit”. goodness people are ignorant.
