Ah crap, we are suppose to be making fun of the guy doing crochet, i thought we was going to make fun of the guy reading the news paper…. damn i have nothing…..
This guy has guts to wear that on the subway. Then again, if the knuckle heads think he’s crazy they’d probably leave him alone…make that guts and smarts!
This is interesting. I don’t get why he’s a WTF picture? Maybe I’m too modern, I’ve seen plenty of guys knitting, crocheting, whatever. It’s a good way to pass time on the subway, eh?
I’ve seen this guy around in NYC. He has a few friends who also crochet a lot and hang out together with their yarn, often in Starbucks. Never thought I’d see a guy I recognize in Picture is Unrelated.
Jannet, I wonder if he knows he’s famous on the internet? I love this picture every time I come across it. He totally kicks the ass of all the stupid chicks out there who think they’re doing something clever when they make a scarf!
But we need something more ethical than biodegradable ammunition and autosweep functions. The most accurate picture of a future warbot will be a small, quiet, solar powered machine. Rockets will contain not only shrapnel and cluster-type sub-munitions, but also seed-bombs in the same rocket to replant the forests destroyed by the wars of the future.
Recycle bots should follow the front lines to melt down robot casualties into reinforcements. Recycle bots could then create the soylent green to fuel the engineers, forced to design ever more effective warbots. Of course, this thread has been photoshoped. The book was written by a corporate anti-healthcare robot who wants to trick us into letting him rule our pool!
Looking at this man doing his thing which seems to give him peace, simply makes me happy; would be great if more of us could find a hobby that creates something that one can put to good use and also puts us in a good mental space; his life may be full of problems but this photo shows that he doesn’t have a care in the world; I also think his outfit is pretty cool…:)
He has gone beyond the usual in the makin of his clothes. That is the difference. Kind of like he is wearin a bed comfortor for clothes. But it looks good.
I’ve seen the guy on the N train. He has a girlfriend covered in crochet stuff, too and they sell it. And it’s not that cheap, either, but it’s aaaalllll ugly.
@BlueJimmie
lol andre 3000 thats exactly what went through my mind first, personally i think if you got the balls to sit there and do it then more power to you
I too crochet that well and make jewelry (among many other things); I’m very glad and proud to see it.

That is the first sign of mental illness. If their country had not eaten every last standing animal specimen and had gotten to work- this could have been spared.
This guy is totally killing it! He doesn’t give a F*#K about what people think – he’s just doing his wicked Kool thing. Tom Ford, move the F*#K over, there’s a new kid in town.
Does anyone know who this is? I think we need to come together in a concerted effort to find him and make him a superstar crochet artist. You just know that he made his entire outfit, complete with hat. Genius.
Crocheting is very relaxing (to me). The repetitive motions are my version of saying “Om.” It’s also a good way to pass time if you’re, say, riding the subway. I can’t think of anything to say about this that doesn’t sum up to “WIN!” I think this guy’s awesome.
That is truly awesome. I wish that guy was my friend.
:-O
@Batgirl
HAHAHA!
Nothing strange about a man who can crochet. I myself am a knitter!
Is that Andre 3000?
Personally, I think that’s cool, not WTF!
That is superb. One of the happiest making pictures I´ve seen recently.
I think I actually saw this guy on the subway once.
Ah crap, we are suppose to be making fun of the guy doing crochet, i thought we was going to make fun of the guy reading the news paper…. damn i have nothing…..
I like a man who’s not afraid of color. The hat was well thought out, it even has either a neck flappy or a snood
really cool!!!
I think the lady sitting to the left of him must have had that jacket made by him.
This guy has guts to wear that on the subway. Then again, if the knuckle heads think he’s crazy they’d probably leave him alone…make that guts and smarts!
This pic is FTW !
Do you suppose this is the same guy in the knitting mummy photo?
@BlueJimmie
my thoughts exactly!
Wonder if this guy could knit me some dub warmers for my Escalade…
actly – i think he looks awesome! btw – those dude bin TANGOED
This guy is 100% win.
I would SO totally date that guy.
But if he didn’t teach me all his cool stitches, I’d make him sleep on the sofa.
Crotcheted pants FTW!
This is interesting. I don’t get why he’s a WTF picture? Maybe I’m too modern, I’ve seen plenty of guys knitting, crocheting, whatever. It’s a good way to pass time on the subway, eh?
This is AWESOME. I should save this for the next “International Knit in Public Day” gathering. (Sure it is crochet, but it is ALL GOOD!).
There’s no reason it can’t be both at the same time.
I’d buy a sweater from him! Think he could make one in a really bright blue color?
it would be really awesome if he made all those things in just one trip
Knitters with attitude
yo foo! im makin me a shaw!
this had gotta be nyc, not so uncommon there..
Clearly you’re in a palindromic mood.
This is FTW not WTF.
@#29
We concede to your correction, and ownage, of our personal selves.

@BlueJimmie
Hahahaha, that’s who I thought it was also!!
Is that shopped? I think I can see the pixels in his hat…
seen him on the train before and he was knitting something at the time as well. Maybe that’s his thing. Riding the train and knitting
Now there is a man who know he has talent or else he wouldnt be doing it in the public,duuuh, so not wtf! Kudos to him!!
i wish that man would crochet me a hot pink jumpsuit. That would be amazderful! I wish he was my friend
wow…so cool

i reckon its so cool seeing guys (not just girls) doing crafts like crochet (as above)for an example
its not just a chick thing!!
Awesome, the dude has a great talent.
Why is this commentable?
@BlueJimmie
i’m pretty sure it is… haha… that’s the first thing i thought too!
@BlueJimmie That’s what i’m thinking!

@Sabra
I thought I was clever when I managed to make a scarf for my first knitting project.
=( My hopes and dreams are dashed.
This guy resembles one of the models in Afya Ibomu’s crochet pattern book “Get Your Crochet On!” If so, I want an autograph.
I bet he is so warm. if I lived in Russia I’d so make me one of these.
HUGs to this guy !!
I’ll make him sit in the back of my car Mahindra Xylo (http://www.mahindraxylo.co.in) and ask him to crochet sweaters for my kids. …. Lol
I like his passion. He is least bothered of his surroundings. He is at his work like Shakespeare at his art.
And by the way, @Hilal Farouqui, this Mahindra Xylo car is nice.

@BlueJimmie
thats what i was thinking!!
Cool cool dude. Way to go, man! Just do it!
Yup, 100% FAG.
i sold that man a 20 rock
Holy Cow I can’t believe that guy is actually reading a newspaper.
He has gone beyond the usual in the makin of his clothes. That is the difference. Kind of like he is wearin a bed comfortor for clothes. But it looks good.

Awesome that he shares his sewing talent with the public.
Knitting like a mothafucka
win.

It would be even funnier if the guy had dyed his beard orange with henna, then his beard would match his outfit. LOL
Thats so g is talented he probably does that 40 hours a week or more its not easy to do that you have to have skills i have tried not easy
यह बहुत अच्छा है ! Nothing wrong about it… Cheers Buddy!!!!
I think that is great! He definitely has the talent, and has used it to make himself some serious head-to-toe wardrobe. Good for him!
i actually know this guy :L
I too crochet that well and make jewelry (among many other things); I’m very glad and proud to see it.

Teach a man to fish~ teach a man to knit. i guess
hehe
Looks like he has his own style. Nothing wrong with that.
That is the first sign of mental illness. If their country had not eaten every last standing animal specimen and had gotten to work- this could have been spared.

@BlueJimmie

Yeah he’s clever alright, he knitted everything you see in the picture..the people look sooo real!
I found a great site—HTTP://WWW.EBUYINGS.COM—- Here has sexy, popular, aggressive and the gorgeous things.It may cause
you to be enthusiastic, it may cause you to fill the brilliance. Try it today!
I rally like his idea, Instead of listening some music and doing nothing, he’s making his journey a productive one. Great…
This guy is totally killing it! He doesn’t give a F*#K about what people think – he’s just doing his wicked Kool thing. Tom Ford, move the F*#K over, there’s a new kid in town.

Reminds me of a graffiti I saw in the rest room at Tipitina’s music club in New Orleans years ago…
“My mother made me a homosexual”…and written beneath it was
“If I gave her the yarn would she make me one, too?”
That is beyond wicked.
You go, Boy! Men who crochet are awesome!!!
Well it’s simple. He has a cloth fetish or whatever
@John E.
knitter and nutter are only a silent k and a vowell apart
This is fuuny! if id have seen that i wouldnt have been able to take the picture id have been laughing that much!
That is cool!
@ Slafgar.
cloth fetish would be a perfect term
