Of course it is, kp. This is undeniable proof of what will happen, and it is why it should be BANNED! Because, obviously, two animals are equivalent to two sentient human beings capable of thought and emotion and who are committed into a loving, consensual relationship. Obviously, if you’re gay, you’re equal to a dog. Common sense here, people!

It may be one of those decoy deer that are set up to snag idiots who hunt illegally. The reflective strip at the top of the window is so the police notice when the window is down, as well as to show that the window is down for passers-by so they’ll stay away from the window, and thus the dog.

I prefer to imagine this is Undercover Bambi having a secret meeting with Police Dog, under the guise of being taken down town after being ‘busted’ for some nepharious reason….

The deer is a taxidermied mount of a head. Notice how it seems to stop at the shoulders? There’s no body back there. The cop put it in the front seat with the head sticking out the back, probably because it was too tall with the antlers to fit inside, and because it wedged nicely between the seat back and the window post.
I’m wondering if it’s part of a hunting sting, something they’ll put at the edge of the woods and see if they can catch idiots shooting at it from the road.

Yep, Hank above is right. The deer is a model. Good photo though, at both first and second glance one does not notice.
