Actually, it looks more like a old deep-sea diver than a cosmonaut, don’t you think ?
He is a diver – the thing on his chest is a weight and he has the “Frankenstein” lead boots on, plus the collar around his neck for the classic standard dress helmet to be clamped to.
It’s not a cosmonaut, it’s a diver suit.
