    Erm… why would you make that assumption?

    For crying out loud! All the immediate “It’s photoshopped!” accusations are driving me crazy. They make me want to stop reading the comments. Chill out, people. Sure, some of these pics are ’shopped. But plenty aren’t. And you know what, most of us don’t care.

  6. Ekakios says:

    @The What Now?

    Yeah, whether or not it was actually photoshopped, this pic is hilarious. At the same time, there are probably kids that would do that…

  7. Photoshop or not, good picture!! Kids are really awesome!! I bet it would feel funny to be ran over by a toy car while praying. Religious freedom rocks!!!

  8. Furlan says:

    I wonder why he’s smiling …?

    Amen!

  10. joiex says:

    @Hertzey

    Maybe he was just being absurd, just like in the manner of this website.

  11. Final Judge of WTF says:

    I heard about this guy…his nanny walked out, so now he brings his kid to prayer. Apparently, he has an entire toy chest he keeps in his pants. Earlier this kid was seen playing with a four-foot Millenium Falcon.

  12. NoSwitchBacksNoMercy says:

    @The Interjectionist
    The odds are in the favor of them praying in an Islamic Law state or atleast a state where Islamic traditions and customs are heavily enforced. Especially around mosques and during prayer. That little kid got at least a smack upside the head from his father, he probably got a few wacks from the cane by a cleric.

  13. Farouk7 says:

    Makes me sad when people comment and they don’t know what they are talking about. As a Muslim, I am pretty confused at some of the comments suggesting the child would be severely punished. You might want to stop watching Fox news for your ideas on other religions, and get to know people once in a while.
    If anything, the father most likely continued praying and would have been happy that the kid was being quiet! At the most, he would have admonished him after the prayers not to do that again, but certainly would not have SEVERELY punished the kid for being a kid.
    We aren’t monsters..we love our children more than ourselves. There are good parents and bad parents in Islam..just as in any other religion.
    ANYWAY, off of my soapbox..cute pic! Cute kid…I would not have been able to stop laughing if that happened during prayer. Would have had to excuse myself!

  14. Final Judge of WTF says:

    @Farouk7
    Do you suppose there are stereotypes about Westerners in the Muslim world? Not saying two wrongs make a right, but unfortunately, Fox News is pretty much all we have to go on, unless we are a worldy travler like you.

    FFS!!! Can you guys calm down with your damn accusations for a day at least lmao. It makes me sick reading through these comments and seeing the “obviously photoshopped” and “If thats not ‘Shopped I don’t know what is!” comments. Well I really don’t think many people are concerned if it’s photoshopped or not. JAYSUS.

  16. raznarukus says:

    Once again the true fact that belief in God gets you nowhere!

    You can tell it is shopped by the contrasting angle of the persons buttocks to that of the child’s toy street mod Honda Fit. If you notice the way the Fit contours from the mans butt-check you will clearly see the lighting and shadows dont match at all. My accusation was not immediate.. GOOD DAY SIR!

  19. FATFREEWATER says:

    dude what if someone farted? how can you concetrate while smelling someone elses colon? I mean come on their heads are right there near the out-port.

    how is fox news all you have to go on? there are probably many muslims in your country, i probably know at least 10 quite well. there is no need to be a worldly traveller to meet people of other religions. and if the kid was going to be severely punished for that then he wouldn’t have been given a car to play with.

  21. R Car says:

    What makes you think it’s a religous thing. They are in fact at a proctology conference. San Dimas High School Football Rules!

  22. The Interjectionist says:

    @NoSwitchBacksNoMercy

    I am a Muslim. I have witnessed scenes as endearing as the one in this picture in mosques the world over, including societies as closed as Saudi Arabia. Muslims generally tend to understand that children will be children and see no cause to ‘punish’ them for being what they are.

    Ever stop to consider why the kid was allowed to bring his toy van to the mosque in the first place if his big bad ‘Mowzlem’ dad was so strict? :P

    Your logic baffles.

  23. The Interjectionist says:

    @FATFREEWATER

    Thankfully that’s something we got sorted from the get go; farts aren’t allowed during prayer. Bowels moving? Gas filling you up? Kidneys starting to swell? Time to break off your prayer and head to the toilet, my friend.

  24. The Interjectionist says:

    @Phoenix

    Kudos for intelligence!

  25. strrygze says:

    I just wanted to say ‘thanks’ to all those who cry ‘Photoshop’. It causes me to take a second, more thoughtful look. Often, it becomes apparent that the picture is indeed ’shopped. This adds an element of enjoyment for me, so please keep calling ‘em out folk…don’t let the naysayers get you down!

  26. Final Judge of WTF says:

    @Phoenix
    aren’t you the one who cried “racist” when someone thought the cell phone biker looked like Mike Tyson? Seems you have a chip on your shoulder to me.

  27. Karee says:

    Why is it, that the comments are always about everything OTHER than the actual pic? Why are there worldy-traveler-possibly-uneducated-about-other-religions-think-before-you-condem comments?

    Isn’t there a website for “you learn my religion, and I’ll learn yours” threads?

    Oh, and uh . .I too have been photoshopped. It doesn’t make me any less of a person.

    ;)

  28. Redhead says:

    My son would have done this!!!!!

  29. Shady Waffle says:

    @Final Judge of WTF
    You say Fox News is all you have, yet you obviously have access to the internet? Clearly it isn’t a lack of resources but rather biasness and/or lazy ignorance on your part and anyone else who believes that. :P

    Anyway, this picture made my day! It’s adorable! XD

  30. Onestickchick says:

    As the owner of a really bad back this pic says 2 things: Stretch and Massage. Ahhh…

  31. Final Judge of WTF says:

    @Shady Waffle
    I don’t have access to the internet. I am viewing this website via pictures that have been printed out and mailed to me from a friend. Then I, in turn, type my comments on a typewriter, mail them back to my friend, who posts them onto this site. For media, I have a cable package where I subscribe to only one channel, Fox News. Sorry to disappoint you.

  32. strrygze says:

    If you want to take on a good cause, try complaining about the ‘First!’ posts. Who gives a damn anyway? I take that back, I can remember back to my grade school days when being first in line or first to the swing set was what set the cool kid apart from the rest.

    Did I mention that I love photoshop?

  33. speedkermit says:

    he’ll probably get stoned for being a heretic or something

  34. Livaart says:

    Err… Aren’t you guy’s worrying way to much about the fact that the kid is spanked or not, and forgetting what the true meaning of this tread is… WTF dood! WTF!

    This kid is just really increadible.It really proves that kid’s can play anywhere! Even in the back’s of their papa’s! Damm, I love’d it!

    Some parents actually love their children and are tolerant of some youthful exuberance. You on the other hand, need to go back to the potatoe box in the basement and don’t come out until I say so.

  38. Clara says:

    @FATFREEWATER
    Wait, hold on, you think that thing is a Honda Fit toy? Did the Fit come out with a station wagon version? I only recall said vehicle having sets of two side windows, not three… like a minivan or wagon…

    Well, I should say, excluding the TINY window in the back… >_>

  40. IcyNit says:

    Agree!!!

  43. Sarah says:

    I am an American and I have access to more than Fox News. I may not be muslim, but I do understand that they are people and not aliens, and not as strange as some Christians think they are. Also, I know the Inquisition and the Puritanical movement were in the past, but remember we’ve dealt with our own brand of pain-in-the-but religious extremeism so I think we should understand that the majority of muslims are against it as much as we are.
    Okay no more soapbox- this is not WTF but it IS adorable! Reminds me of playing with toys in the pews where the pastor couldn’t see, as a kid.

  44. FATFREEWATER says:

    @Clara
    No i dont think that just somewhat resembles it, somewhat, i dont know the latest cars in the middle east also..

  45. FATFREEWATER says:

    @The Interjectionist
    but what of the extremist? and those who are serious about their religious walk tend to suffer through in spite of.

  46. Final Judge of WTF says:

    I’m sick of all the comments that begin with angst, anger and condecention, then end with “but the boy is so adorable and cute” You’re not fooling anyone…we know there is nothing but liquid poison in your cold black hearts!! Muuuhaahaahaaa!

    I’m sure his parents wouldn’t dream of stoning him. They’ll probably leave it to the Imam and his laughing henchmen.

  48. Tek says:

    *chuckles*

    I dig the pic.

    Honestly reminds me of being in church and being allowed to colour to my heart’s content during the entire service. As my parent’s believed “Anything to keep her still!”

  49. Triple7 says:

    @Farouk7
    I have trouble not laughing when kids do stuff like that at my church too. Especially this one little boy who kept making his storm trouper and I believe, Rhino from spider-man whack into each other with exploding noises. XD

  50. thatgirl says:

    this pic reminds me of the video of the baby breast feeding while the mom was in a yoga head stand pose, kids are little opertunist they know they can get by with a lot when you are deep in commune. i know mine usualy acts up when i’m on the computer. lol

  51. MAMAMAMAMA says:

    I am a muslim, and I think I did this before when I was young. Nothing happened to me motherfuckers

  52. stevie w says:

    No, this example of insolence would not require an honor killing.

  53. stevie w says:

    @Identity Crisis
    But if a child dishonors the faith of Islam, a parent is compelled, under some circumstances, to kill their child.
    Usually it’s a daughter that is killed, not a son.

  54. stevie w says:

    killing one’s child for the sake of honor for one’s faith …..I don’t get it.

  55. Becca says:

    I LIKE TURTLES. Sorry thought I’d break up the argueing and accusations.

  56. Windows XP Has Zits says:

    Whoops, little kids pop up with toy cars, constant in all of life.

  57. lady m says:

    The fact is, Muslim prayer time is to focus completely on God, and not seeing if someone else’s kid is acting out.

  58. CFitz says:

    That is so funny! True or not who cares its a funny picture!!!

    What I find even funnier is the people that throw insults & argue over a picture.

    Give me a break folks, it is a cute picture can’t u just appreciate the humor of it? Dang, people have gotten so callous & judgmental over the last few years. It’s very sad!

  59. ExZonie says:

    Kids will be kids. Cute!

  60. Reimbeer says:

    @Farouk7
    Some muslims love their children so much that a knife must be used to amputate unique sensitive ’skin’ which actually is an organ with several functions. This painful irreversable bloody human sacrifice mutilation rite is mandatory, showing love and obedience without question to an invisible monster creature that lives in old faery tales and sick heads, who allegedly is obsessed with penises of young boys and who’s messenger was a pensioner who married and consumed (sic) a little girl. No. Muslims are not monsters. Muslims are human. Religion is monstrous. Making good people doing terrible things and abandoning 21st century common sense.

  61. Juba says:

    Final Judge of WTF :@Farouk7 Do you suppose there are stereotypes about Westerners in the Muslim world? Not saying two wrongs make a right, but unfortunately, Fox News is pretty much all we have to go on, unless we are a worldy travler like you.

    You could read a book then, but by saying that fox news is what you have to go on shows how brain washed u are by the media.

    If see something similiar in the usa, then I can also say that the father will shoot his kid and kill the rest of the family and then commit suicide, isnt that what most americans do?

  62. A Dad. says:

    “we love our children more than ourselves.”

    Do you love them more than you love god? You should – but I suspect you don’t, since you are teaching them to believe that a fairy tale is true. This does not just apply to muslims – it applies to every religion or belief that teaches as absolute truths (homeopathy, crystal healing, alien origins, etc) things for which evidence is lacking, nonexistent, or even countered by actual evidence. Shame on all of you.

  63. Bob Sheldon says:

    Allah Back Car?

  64. Notamuslim says:

    @The Interjectionist

    What’s the deal with Muslim bashers and Muslim defenders trawling the internet looking for anything even slightly related to Islam and getting into a massive debate. Especially on sites like this, it seems a bit stupid to get into that (the joke is that the kid is mucking around during a serious ceremony…got nothing to do with Islam really.)

  65. Micky says:

    @Farouk7
    You know, I’m not a Muslim, yet I can be educated enough to know that Muslims aren’t monsters. Not even close. In fact, the muslims I know happen to be really nice, decent people. I agree in that people maybe should, I don’t know, read a book once in a while instead of listening to media stereotypes.

  66. Thomas says:

    It is not prejudice or racism that makes a thread that merely touches the subject of Islam into a discussion board about the wrongdoings of Islam. It is the wrongdoings of Islam.

  67. Big Daddy Bull says:

    @raznarukus
    RAmen!

  68. moi says:

    @The Interjectionist
    it’s a serious time for worship during the day. and everyone participates. EVERYONE.

  69. ash says:

    Haha nice one…thats funny

    just to comment on the comments…it is shopped….the lighting and shadows are different and if you look close the kid could not actually fit in that space…its funny and its a great idea..but all of you saying it isn’t shopped are wrong….just saying….you can tell….i do shopping at work and freelance….if you use PS you know what to look for

    Great pic by the way =)

  70. Des. says:

    Dude.Wtf is even going on? everyones bowing.Why doesnt life make sense.?

  71. Des. says:

    @Farouk7 Dude.Agreed.im Christian,but why do you guys that kid will be severely punished?Now that i know whats going on,lol.

  72. yamatata says:

    So if the kid gets stoned to death then that also means the guy at the top right hand corner wearing a little miss bad shirt will get pulicly flogged for wearing girly clothes.Infact everyone in there will be stoned to death for wearing clothes because they were not directly made by Allah.

  73. aMuslim says:

    LOL Hilarious picture…I am Muslim. my daughter tries to climb my back, imitate me praying, pat me on my back, grab my hand and try to bite fingers and play in front of me while i am praying. It just reminds me of how beautiful she is and how thankful i should be to God for blessing me with her company.

    Cute Kid!

  74. anAtheist says:

    @aMuslim:
    “It just reminds me of (…) how thankful i should be to God for blessing me with her company.”

    it should remind you to concentrate on playing with your daughter ;-)
